Abstract

The term Internet of Things is a key word to cover the various aspects of the expansion of the Internet and the Web into the physical realm, through the widespread use of distributed systems that have the capability to detect, measure or operate. The purpose of this study was to investigate the impact of IT technology and information processing on operational agility in the Isfahan city oil and gas pipeline company in 1397. The research method is descriptive-correlative and of a practical type. The statistical population consisted of 152 senior experts, middle and senior managers, which was selected using Cochran formula with a sample size of 110 persons. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire with a Likert scale. Delphi method was used to determine the validity and content of the questionnaires. The reliability of the questionnaire was determined using Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 87%. After collecting the data, their analyses were carried out at two descriptive levels and inferential statistics using SPSS and Amos software. The results showed that the use of Internet technology objects and information processing capabilities affect the operational agility of Isfahan city oil and gas Pipelines Company.
